The safe way of paying lobola today

It is to my understanding that parents of the brides all ways loose the money paid for lobola of their daughters.

Today, let’s take technology or model C system of pay lobola as a safe way. Many people lost thousands of Rand after the marriage negotiations. Immediately after negotiations the gunmen darken your doors demanding the whole amount paid for lobola.

Take it from me there is another way of doing it safely without hustles.  I think these days if you would like to pay lobola. The negotiators should not carry a lot of money. Negotiators should carry at least R2 000 as consultation fee the rest should be paid in the account.

You never know the people you invite what they think about you. Some they would just appreciate by discussing how much the money paid for lobola. Sometime they discuss in front of the gangsters not knowing that they are gangsters.

No matter it is like that these days only few negotiators are need from both parts especially when the money paid in the account.

Then the two parts had to agree on how the money had to be paid. You can either deposit the mount in to your in-law’s account. The day of paying lobola you don’t have to carry a bunch of money. The negotiators would only submit the deposit slip and then both parts had to verify if there is out standing amount.

I once witness an incident whereby the son in-law accused of reclaiming his lobola back after the in-laws robbed of their money.

There should be a celebration of the marriage, but the gatherers shouldn’t know how and when the lobola paid.

The disadvantage is that if the father or mother is disloyal then one of the beneficiaries would not benefit. If the bride has both parents the two had to share the money according to their culture.

The feast has to be prepared as usual but the truth has to hidden to everybody.
