Retiree educator changed the chapters of syllabus to educate people.
Elizabeth Mashele’s third traditional gospel album heals and educates.

Elizabeth Mashele is the yard stick to measure the traditional gospel artist from Bushbuckridge. Her music is every household’s brand.

Mashele a former primary school teacher uses his knowledge and bible to compose songs.

Mashele’s first two album Tinyandza volume one and Tinyandza volume two gives her courage to pursue music as a career.

“I did see that there is a big gap in the society that people lack spiritual counselling when ever they have problems.

Many people suffer from vertical and emotional stress, and God is the only answers to those problems. Some of my music composition comes through dreams and some from imaginations after counselling people especially couples.” Elizabeth Mashele said.
Elizabeth Mashele is the Bishop of Pentecostal Church in God’s Christ in Cottondale near Thulamahashe in Bushbuckridge Mpumalanga.
“My music is loved by everybody because I use most of the vernacular languages and English as a medium language to those that don’t understand vernacular languages.” Elizabeth Mashele said.

Mashele told BVUNZAMUTUPO SADCVoice that it makes no difference to her being on pension or at work because she spends most her time praying and counselling people.

Mashele’s third album Makateko with 12 tracks is selling like hot buns in Bushbuckridge and beyond. Mashele pleads with music promoters to scout talent in the rural areas

“I think music promoters are not doing enough to promote artists from rural areas. They should also come down to the people. I wish if I had time to do that because these local talents need help.” Mashele said
