AGANG SA LEADER IN JOZI TO ADDRESS CITIZENS

AGANG SA LEADER IN JOZI TO ADDRESS CITIZENS
By BRIAN KAJENGO
On Sunday February 23, Agang SA Leader, Mamphela Ramphele  deliver a Citizen's State Of the Nation Address at the Constitutional Hill in Johannesburg.
One year ago, Dr Mamphela Ramphele stood in the Women’s Gaol on Constitution Hill to announce her entry into the political arena in a step that eventually led to the creation of Agang SA.

She committed then to travel around the country to hear the concerns and challenges of people. Since then, Dr Mamphela Ramphele has traveled from coast to coast, from community to community and from villages to cities to hear what citizens had to say, their aspirations and fears, hopes and despair.

It is clear that the voices that Dr Mamphela Ramphele heard during her travels not reflected in the President’s 2014 State of the Nation address. The voices of the citizens of this country remain muted.

On Sunday, where the Agang SA journey began, Dr Mamphela Ramphele will deliver a Citizen’s State of the Nation address so that their voices heard.
