ANC BUYS VOTES THROUGH FOOD PARCELS AGAIN

Riots Hlatshwayo says COPE in Mpumalanga has noted with concern that the ANC, like during previous elections periods, has again started to buy votes from the communities through food parcels.

“The ANC started with the food parcels tricks during past national elections periods and ran away with murder.

“This time around COPE wants to make sure the people become aware about this strategy of using food to buy the votes.” Riot said.

COPE says the ANC makes it look like people only become hungry once in five years which is not the case.

“We do not hear of people receiving food parcels when national elections are far.” Riot said.

Riot told Bvunzamutupo SADC Voice that COPE calls on South African not to allow a situation of being bribed with food parcels by the ANC for the sake of votes.

People must vote for a political party that is ready to deliver services instead of empty promises.
