COPE in Mpumalanga sends its condolences to the families of the six people who perished along the N4 highway
Bvunza Mutupo SADC VOICE
COPE in Mpumalanga hereby sends its condolences to the families of the six people who lost their lives during a head-on collision that happened along the N4-Highway near Ngodwana yon Monday 10 February 2014.
We call upon the law enforcement officials to conduct thorough investigations into the causes of the accident in order to get to the bottom of the matter.
The death of just one person in a road accident is one too many and efforts need to be made to prevent situations of this nature.
COPE says it is very hard to accept the fact that the people who died in that accident might have been chatting and laughing with each other minutes before the accident that took their lives away.
Taking into considerations that they might have left their children, spouses and families in general COPE would want to take this opportunity and again request road users to be vigilant when using the road, this include the careful observation of road traffic signs and speed limit especially.
