Mpumalanga short film festival

Mpumalanga Short Film Festival in Partnership with Department of Culture, Sport and Recreation, Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency, Woolworths Riverside, National Film and Video Foundation and Rise FM Invite you to the Launch of the 2nd Annual Film Festival.

Venue: Hall's Gateway on the N4 National Highway Nelspruit (Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency)
Time: 9 am to 17H00

The event is set to start at nine where all registration and accreditation is collected till 13H00PM then the Launch is at 14H30 where a Speaker will speak for the above-mentioned companies. We have a Film Called INumber Inumber, which NFVF is inviting for Screening and opening the Festival with. Mpumalanga this year has made it to 15 Films, which made it through to the Nominees compared to last year.

This year we have over 49 Films, which will be screened over the period of 6 days where we appreciate women’s work on the 9th of August 2014 showcasing women's work from all over the world with over 6 from Mpumalanga Province.

SABC will be producing the opening for SABC News channel, which will be screened on 404, 

We looking forward receiving over 400 people to attend the festival with free transport from the Promenade Centre as our Pick up point and drop of at the venue and back.

We have workshops running from the 8th till the 12th of August filmmakers who are willing to learn or willing to get their film licensed and screened in other international channels a content distributer is invited and will be running workshops and also taking best films for licensing.

ATFT will also help educate and give young filmmakers and business filmmakers and opportunity to market and promote their project in other foreign countries such as UK, Canada, Cannes, Brazil, China, Dubai and many more other market in the world.

We would also like to extend the Invitation for the awards ceremony, which is planned as follows:

30 Awards to be given away and Certificates of Appreciation as well as trophies to Companies which supported us last year.
