MEC FOR COGTA, HON. MTSHWENI VISITS THE WATER PROJECT CONSTRUCTION SITE IN PHOLA TO MONITOR PROGRESS
MEC for Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA) in Mpumalanga, Hon. Refilwe Mtshweni will visit the construction site of the steel water project in Phola, near Hazyview to monitor progress.
MEC Mtshweni on Tuesday 12 August visit the project.
The Phola site is one of the nine (9) sites in which the department is building a 750 mega-litre reservoir. The water project is one of the several water interventions to improve the water delivery capacity to various communities in Mpumalanga in line with provincial priorities.
 MEC Mtshweni outlined details of the projects during the Policy and Budget speech. The eight other projects are in Steenbok and Mangweni in the Nkomazi Municipality, Cunningmore B, Thusanang and Casteel in Bushbuckridge Municipality and Matsulu in the Mbombela Municipality.

The steel water tank for the reservoir will delivered at the Phola site on the day of the visit. The 26 meter long tank transported from Secunda in Mpumalanga
