SOUTH AFRICA AND CUBA TO SIGN ECONOMIC ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT

Dti will be signing of the amendments to the Agreement between the government of South Africa and the government of Cuba on the Economic Assistance.

The signing is a follow-up to President Jacob Zuma’s 2010 State Visit to Cuba, where he announced an economic assistance package of R350-million to Cuba.
This will take place at GCIS, Tshedimosetso House, 1035 Frances Baard Street (corner Festival Street), Hatfield, Pretoria on Friday 26 September 2014.

There will be a video link to Imbizo Media Centre, Parliament


The Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr Rob Davies and the Ambassador of Cuba to South Africa, Mr Carlos Fernandez de Cossio, will sign the agreement
