Bushbuckridge Residents Association welcomes the MEC''s Decision

Bushbuckridge Residents Association 

The Bushbuckridge Residents Association welcomes the decision by MEC for Finance, Economic development and Tourism Honourable Sikhumbuzo Eric Kholwane to place an interim board of Mpumalanga Economic Growth Agency as contemplated in the Mpumalanga Economic Growth Agency, 2010 (ACT no.1 0f 2010). This is after the serving board disbanded a month ago due to their incompetency.

Promise told Bvunzamutupo News that BRA believes that the MEC has appointed capable men and women who are equal to the task, and well equipped and experienced and it will enhance the economic development, investment, and grow the agricultural sector of Mpumalanga province. This will leads to sustainable job creation.

“While we welcome the decision to place an interim board, BRA believes that the MEC will now learn from their mistakes, will now follow all processes, and appoint individuals with experience, good record in their current field of work and correct qualifications in order to grow the economy of the province. We call on the cabinet to do so as currently there are ongoing processes to appoint a new permanent board.”  Promise Moripa said.

BRA will pay attention on the next board selection process as members selected and appointed for the benefit of Mpumalanga citizens.
