Chairs flew all over the lecture hall, tables overturned after the ANC’ Annual General Meeting turned ugly.

The Provincial leadership failed to address the issues of Ngwaritsane Branch in Bushbuckridge for the past 12 month. The Branch would have launched last year July, but the branch fails to reach the required number for it launched.

On Friday the number was far more less than the required number needed but the ANC delegate insisted that the launch had to go forward.

When some of the ANC members asked for the launch postponed since they branch failed to reach the required number, the meeting turns ugly some of the comrades’ blood boiled and the fight erupted.
Bohlabela one of ANC supporting district turns a laughing stock after its members fight on daily based. Most of its strong hold supporters are loosing faith on the current Regional Secretary accused of dividing ANC within the region.

“I wanted to rescue Nonhlanhla Thabang who was thrown from the stage and fellow on the table. Before I even reach the floor where she was laying Chairs and sticks greeted me.

“I wonder why the people who represent the region start the fight. I know he wanted to please his masters because he had given municipal post which not advertised.

“The National leadership should come down to solve these issues because these hooligans down here are donating memberships to opposition parties.” Ratego Makgwalele said.

Ratego accused ANC leadership in Bohlabela of not serving the interest of the organization, but to enrich themselves and their friends.

“We are tired on praying to earthly Gods than our heavenly God who is in Heaven,” said Ratego.

Nonhanhla Thabang (35) who pushed and fellow on the table told Bvunzamutupo News that she wondered why Councillor Harnes Malibe gave her a hot klaap while she was on the floor.

“I am not able to walk or sit upright either, but ward Councillor Harnes Malibe gave me a hot klap I even see stars of the sky. Nobody would like to give me clarity about why they did assault me. Now I can’t go out looking for employment because I have been advised to rest because I once had been involved in an accident early this year.” Nonhlanhla Thabang said.

One of the ANC top cadres asked not to known said, “My heart is bleed about how we run ANC here in Bushbuckridge. These people are the ones that contributed to the formation of Bushbuckridge Residents Association, and now EFF had gain more members because of us. That is very bad the members that attend the Annual General Meeting were less than 150 and the Launch would have postponed, but because now there are some back door lobbying within the region.”
Regional Secretary Mandla Ndlovu accused of all the mess within the part.
“Comrade possessed by a demon which led him to donated Graskop to DA. Some of the members joined EFF and even now most of our strong members are loosing faith on the organisation because of him.” Source said.

The one accused for causing the fight Steve Maunye who is the Regional Deputy Secretary accused the victims for disrupting the launch.

“They got what they wanted. Those people had aim of disrupting the launch; the god they branch officially launched. Wherever there is something good the devil is always there to disturb. They asked for it and they got it. Steve Maunye said.

Bushbuckridge spokesperson, Warrant Officer Donald Mabasa confirmed that cases of assault and point firearm had been opened, and no arrested had been made.
