THESE HOUSES AREN’T FOR PICNIC VENUES

Those were the work by Abe Sibiya told the SANPark Officials Lower Sabie when he official hand news house that are conducive to the workers.

“We had to change the housing environment of our employees in the Kruger. These houses allow our employees to bring in their families together. At first we had a problems of workers ended up having small house (second wives) because the one roomed house they had could not accommodate families.
“We need our workers to bring families not boyfriends or girlfriends. The environment had changed for everybody and the employers.” Abe Sibiya said.

These first to roomed houses had space for a single bed and small belongings only. The different with the new buildings is that the new structures had three bedrooms, kitchen, dining room and a toilet inside.

“This doesn’t mean that you don’t have to build your own accommodation. Remember the time of retirement will come you should know where to stand socially and legally.” Abe Sibiya said.

One of the beneficiaries, Martha Ndubane (60) Bvunzamutupo SADC VOICE that she is more than happy that she had a decent accommodation.
“I am very much happy that I am now able to invite my grand children during school holiday. I know that they sometimes they need to spend more time with me. Now they are able to visit me. I would like them to come and experience the life in the Kruger national Park before I retire,” Martha Ndubane said.

The union representative, Aaron Mambane, the SACCAW coordinator told Bvunzamutupo SADC VOICE that if the worker have conducive environment create a better worker condition for employees.

“This tells us that SANPark cares for its employees and the housing allowances are good and acceptable. We would like to see other companies copy from SANPark,” said Aaron Mambane.
NEHAU representative, Conzeni Selala said, “God is great because he is the one who entered in to management to come up with such a good. We pledge with our members to comply with their employers.”
