At least 51 traffic learners who received learnership from Mpumalanga Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison in year 2013 have graduated on Thursday 20 March 2014 after 12 months of learning in Manenu Traffic College in Limpopo.

At least a group of 50 learners who enrolled at Bokenhoutkloof Traffic College in Pretoria also graduated.

According Acting Head of the Department, Mr. William Mthombothi, these learners are now qualified iinspectors as they hold qualifications on Road Traffic Law Enforcement (NQF level 4).

This is one of the strategies by the department to reduce road crashes and address youth unemployment in the province.

The learners have completed a 12 month theoretical and practical training in traffic safety and management and soon deployed to enhance safety on our roads.
