COPE
believes that the taste of the pudding is in the eating. COPE in Mpumalanga believes that
it gonna turn all the tides because it has much time to market its manifestos
with supporters.
Mpumalanga
COPE accuses the ruling party for taking out COPE posters and replace them with
ANC posters.
COPE
leaders in Mpumalanga busted a man who is believed to be a member of the ANC in
the process of removing COPE posters along the R40 road in Mbombela on Monday 3
March 2014.
The
leaders of COPE, Mpumalanga
chairman Comrade Sizile Ndlovu and colleague Trevor Nkosi were in a campaign to
monitor the election posters when they came across a number of men wearing ANC
T-shirts along the road.
The
two comrades also noticed that one of the men was busy removing posters
belonging to COPE from the street lamp poles and replacing them with ANC
posters.
“This
shows that the ANC is hell-bent in promoting lack of political tolerance in the
country and this is mostly seen during election times. This is not something
that COPE is ready to take for granted and is very unacceptable,” said COPE Mpumalanga chairman,
Comrade Sizile Ndlovu.
Ndlovu
told the Bvunzamutupo that police were approached and the man was arrested on
the spot.
