SUSPECT
SOUGHT FOR KILLING OF ELDERLY STEPFATHER
NELSPRUIT – on Tuesday 6 January 2015, at approximately
23:10, a 68 year old elderly man brutally killed, allegedly by his stepson.
Police spotted three cars driven at high speed and became
inquisitive. They then followed those cars until to a certain address in
Witbank.
Upon arrival cops found a woman who asked them to break the
door by a woman in a state of shock, sitting outside of the locked house. T
When the police get entry in to the house they found the lifeless
body of an old man lying in bed with 13 stab wounds.
A short probe revealed that his stepson allegedly stabbed the
victim. The police also informed that the suspect, after having committed the
murder, fled in a Hundai sedan with registration number FXJ 285 MP, silver in
colour. The vehicle belonged to the victim and it later discovered that it left
abandoned in springs.
Police says we request the community to assist with information
regarding this barbaric incident. Anyone with information may contact the
Witbank Police Station at (013) 6555000 or alternatively contact any nearest
police station. In the meantime the police in Witbank believe that Mr Jankowitz
Herman can be of great help in solving this case.
