MAN OF LAW FOUND ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE LAW

MAN OF LAW FOUND ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE LAW

Nelspruit – He is a good law abiding law keeper by the day, and a he committees crime.
A 29 year old Constable stationed at Charles arrested for murder, kidnapping, and defeating ends of justice.
His arrest emanates from an incident that occurred on Tuesday 6 January 2014, where a 25-year-old man brutally murdered, in what described as a classic case of mob justice.
The community in Embalenhle alerted the police discovered the man’s lifeless body.
When they arrived at the scene, police informed that the man was killed by a mob who accused him for theft but no one was prepared at that time to give concrete information.
The Detectives started their investigation and it appeared that the constable was involved in the killing.
Preliminary information has uncovered that after the constable labelled the man as a thief who allegedly stole engine parts from his family home, he (constable) organised a few men and hunted the man. After they found him, they abducted him and forced him in the garage.
It’s alleged that they assaulted him until he succumbed to death as a result of his severe injuries. The constable and his accomplices then loaded the body of the man in a wheelbarrow   and dumped it in the street hence it spotted by the community.
The investigation by the police then led to the arrest of the constable together with three men aged between 17 and 25.
The Local Criminal Record Centre in which stains of blood were found from the mentioned garage and will be sent for DNA tests has already detected material evidence.

The Acting Provincial Commissioner of the SAPS in Mpumalanga Major General (Adv) Meshack Nogwanya has come out guns blazing against what happened.
