Provincial Mandela Day activities

The Mpumalanga provincial government will celebrate the Mandela Day with a community of Siyathuthuka Township in Emakhazeni Local Municipality, just outside Belfast in an effort to make a reasonable impact in their lives.

Premier David Mabuza and all members of the executive council will be involved in the cleaning, painting and renovation of a local old age home, Siyathuthuka Clinic and Belfast Higher Primary School.

The Premier is expected to make remarks at Belfast Higher Primary School where there will be the hoisting of the country’s flag, singing of the national anthem and reading of the biography of the late Mr. Nelson Mandela by the learners.

There will be a community meeting at Khayalami Secondary School, also in Siyathuthuka Township, where members of the public given an opportunity to interact with the political principals.
