 MPUMALANGA PROVINCIAL LEGISLATURE TO HOLD YOUTH PARLIAMENT

The Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature will hold Youth Parliament on Friday 20 June 2014 from 10h00.

The theme for this year’s Youth Parliament is: “SA Youth history makers, legends of the future. Youth moving SA forward”

During the sitting, youth from around the province will deliberate on issues that directly affect them, with the following thematic areas,

The youth will deliberate on the following thematic areas:

§                    Education and Training in the Province.

§                    Radical Economic Transformation ( Work exposure, public sector measures and youth target set asides)

§                    Radical Economic Transformation (Youth entrepreneurship and youth co-operatives private sector measures)

Representatives from NYDA, Department of Economic Development and Planning will attend the Youth Parliament.
