 CHILDREN’S PARLIAMENT TO BE HOLD AT THE PROVINCIAL LEGISLATURE

The Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature will hold Children’s Parliament scheduled for Saturday 14 June 214. The event is schedule to start at 10h00.

The theme for this year’s Children’s Parliament is: “Celebrating 20 years of democracy: Children have a good story to tell”.

During the sitting, children from around the province will deliberate on issues that directly affect them, with the following thematic areas,

§                    20 years of democracy, is 20 years of a better life.

§                    Children’s Charter: Children’s rights are human rights.

§                    Nigeria witnessed the abduction of girls, what do we do to improve our safety?
