WORLD SIGHT DAY 2014, MANZANA CULTURAL CENTRE

The Mpumalanga Department of Health led by MEC Gillion Mashego, in partnership with Nkomati Mine and Nelspruit Lions Club will commemorate world sight Day on Thursday, 09 October 2014 in pursuit of Vision 2020. World Sight Day is the main international event for raising awareness about avoidable blindness and vision loss, it is an annual day of awareness held on the second Thursday of October, to focus global attention on blindness and vision impairment.

Free Spectacles, Wheel Chairs and White Cain’s will be given to members of the community especially those who are above 40 years of Age.
Members of the media are invited.
The event is scheduled as follows:
