IMPILO PRIMARY SCHOOL IN KRIEL  benefited
MEC Refilwe Mtshweniwelcomed by the parents and educators of Impilo Primary School in Kriel. The MEC donated new school uniforms to 27 learners at the school.

MEC Mtshweni identified the school during the Mandela Day celebration. MEC Mtshweni accompanied by officials in the department and members of the local community in Thubelisha painting the walls of the schools and fixing the windows and doors at the school. At the time, Mtshweni said improvement of education is one of the key priorities of the government. And therefore the support for Impilo Primary school is in line with the key priorities.

Apart from the school uniforms, two computers were donated to the school. School principal, Ms Sbongile Zondo lauded MEC Mtshweni for the support. “Most of our pupils are fromdisadvantaged families and are unable to provide adequately for them. This uniform will inspire them to attend classes daily and to perform better in class,” she said. She added that the computers will be used by the school
