MPUMALANGA
TO HOST A PUBLIC SERVICE CONFERENCE
Mpumalanga
Premier David Mabuza will, on Wednesday 26 November 2014, deliver a keynote
address at a three-day Senior Management Service Summit at Ingwenyama Lodge in White River .
The main aim of
this gathering is to prepare the senior management echelons to meet the
ever-changing demands, needs
and expectations of the 21st Century
citizenry with the limited resources. One of the major challenges facing this
state machinery is to innovatively use its time, energy and resources within
the confines of the stagnating economic environment. It is true that the
country is facing enormous challenges of poverty, unemployment and inequality.
This three day summit will expose the senior management to a
wealth of knowledge from experts in the different fields of human resource
capital and advance technological expertise to meet the demands of the public
with a variety of needs. This
conference forms a critical part of strategic mandate to champion efficiency,
effectiveness and innovation in the public sector by exposing the public sector
and the strategic partners to new approaches and solutions to new challenges,
new opportunities and new strategies, and to allow space for sharing best
practices.
Robust debates
and discussions with inputs from experts will culminate in a signing of the
pledge led by the Director-General on the last day of the conference.
