MINISTER DAVIES TO SPEAK AT THE LAUNCH OF THE NEW MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS

Mercedes-Benz South Africa Ltd (MBSA) invites members of the media to the production launch of the new C-Class where the Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr Rob Davies will deliver a keynote address. The event is to take place at Mercedes – Benz South Africa in Eastern Cape on Thursday 15 may 2014.

The start of production of the new C-Class has already had a substantial impact on the local and national economy.

•           Seven new multinational suppliers introduced in East London in support of the full production value chain.

•           Increased employment and more than 1 200 international training interventions with more than R60m spent on training.

•           Increased capacity and the introduction of a host of new cutting-edge technologies.
