DCSSL MEC Shongwe
appointed Mpumalanga Acting Premier while Premier Mabuza rests
Mpumalanga Community Safety Security and Liaison MEC Vusi Shongwe was sworn-in today in Pretoria as the Mpumalanga Acting Premier by Judge President Aubrey Ledwaba with immediate effect until next week Friday [18 September 2015].
Mpumalanga Premier David Mabuza has been booked by the doctors to rest at home after he was taken to hospital for consultation due to severe exhaustion.
The Premier has taken leave to rest from work since he has not taken sufficient time off in the past five years in office.
The past few months have extremely been a busy period for the Honourable Premier and he has since been ordered to rest for a few days.
We would like to assure the public that the Honourable Premier is in good hands and that there is no need to panic.
