DEFECTION BY CERTAIN PARLIAMENTARIANS MEANS NOTHING

DEFECTION BY CERTAIN PARLIAMENTARIANS MEANS NOTHING

COPE in Mpumalanga has noted with contempt the defection by certain parliamentarians from the party.

They in essence had the guts to use COPE’s opportunity to find themselves in Parliament where they even failed to utter a single word during their stay.

“These are the people who wanted to use their failure to stay afloat and they pretend as if Gwende Mantashe, the secretary of the ANC, is some kind of God that they need to worship.” Sizile Ndlovu said.

COPE’s provincial premier candidate Sizile Ndlovu said the party was not worried about the defection at all.

“We do not have a place for lazy people in our party. These people who left had their hidden agenda but we are just not worried about them at all,” said Ndlovu.
