MINISTER OF HEALTH TO
BE BRIEFED ABOUT PROGRESS OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE HCT CAMPAIGN
On
the 8th of November 2014, business signed a Pledge of Partnership in which a
commitment was made to support the NSP (National strategic Plan) goals and the
implementation of the HCT (HIV/AIDS Councilling & Testing) Campaign.
Sabcoha
(South African Business Coalition on HIV/AIDS) signed the Pledge on behalf of
business sector and the Deputy President signed on behalf of SANAC (South
African National Aids council).
The
Department of Health as a lead department in the HIV/AIDS response in South
Africa was represented by the Minister of Health and the Premier of Mpumalanga
signed on behalf of the Province.
Sabcoha has been working very hard to ensure that the commitments in the
Pledge are acted upon and they have now invited the Minister of Health to visit
the Gert sibande district to review the progress of the implementation.

After
the review of the progress made, the team will take a Site Visit to eMbalenhle
Testing Sites & BizAIDS Certification Ceremony. That will take place at Graceland Casino in Secunda on ( July 2015
