Mpumalanga COPE believes that the tender entrepreneur
is the cause of pandemonium and acrimony within the ANC in Behlabela region in Mpumalanga.
It’s alleged that top members of the ANC
tendering them.
“COPE in Mpumalanga has been well informed that a
group of ANC leaders in the Bohlabela region have been fighting over who should
get tenders and who should not.
“A group of ANC leaders allegedly tried to
remove the regional ANC secretary, Mandla Ndlovu, accusing him of “eating
alone” when it came to tenders.
“They accused Ndlovu of fronting a number
of companies and ignoring other ANC leaders in the area who would also like to
see their fronting companies getting some tenders from the Bushbuckridge
municipality.” Riot Hlatshwayo said.
COPE
says it is a matter of dog eats dog here and this shows nothing less than a
proof that ANC leaders are not interested in service delivery but their
pockets.
“If such allegations surfaces COPE will not
fold hands and smile because anyway it was formed to defend the national constitution.
An ANC group that supports Ndlovu also tried to remove another leader, Remember
Makhubela, from his position as a regional municipal manager in Acornhoek
sighting similar reasons.” Riot Hlatswayo said.
When
two bulls fight, chances are that the grass will suffer. Under the
circumstances the community will suffer because when people are busy fighting,
service delivery gets affected.
