ENOUGH WITH THE SUSPECTS
By BRIAN

The people
of Violetbank in Shatale call it enough is enough with the police that aren’t
doing their duties properly.
Community
of Shatale in Bushbuckridge are man hunting the suspect escaped from Mhala
holding cells, but their blamed the police to be the mastermind of the
heartless jobs.
According
to community leader Noel Dibakwane, the community spotted the person who
supplies the suspects with information and food in the Bushes of Shatale. The
prime suspect ran away and hides in the masakhane village near Bushbuckridge.
“We were
shocked to find out that when we went to the place we were told that the
suspect we wanted was taken by police. How did the police take the person we
were looking for, because we didn’t open a case against him? The community only
want information regarding the whereabouts of the murder suspects escaped from
cells because he is always seen taking food to the bushes.” Noel Dibakwane
asked.
Dibakwane
asked the community about what would be the plan B because people are not safe
at all. It alleged that two escapee suspects arrested at Shatale last week
Friday.
Dibakwane
told the BVUNZA MUTUPO NEWS that the aim of the community is to make the
suspects arrested and face justice.
“We are now
scared of the lives of dedicated police that are doing their jobs properly with
the interest of serving people’s lives.
Nobody is willing to give clarity to the people how the offenders
escaped from police cells.
“I spoke to
the policeman who takes the man we wanted to ask about the whereabouts of the
suspects now he told me that the man will not appear in court because there is
no charge against him.” Noel Dibakwane said.
Dibakwane
promised the community that they will never get rest until the suspects are
behind bars. Dibakwane asked everybody whose case handled well to give the case
number.
“We are
pleading with everybody who might have opened a case and the case never
attended too to give us the case number so that we do our own investigations. We
use to blame justice for not take drastic measures, but now it’s the police.”
Dibakwane said.
Dibakwane
ordered all young women and men that aren’t working to be in door before 20h00.
“If you
want to go to your boyfriend please go on time. We are busy man hunting the
suspects escaped from police. When we patrol we don’t want problems because
things aren’t ok at the moment till we make the suspects behind bars. When you
come across those suspects please be advised not to attempt to do anything
because they are heavily armed.” Dibakwane said.
Those
suspects include the three suspects who killed Evans Hlatshwayo last year
August at Madjembeni.
Community
agreed to convene a march if thing keep on happening the same way. The people
of Shatale have been patrolling since two money lenders (mashonisas) robbed at
gunpoint shortly after the notorious suspects escaped from the police cells.
Marvis
Nyambi (67) told BVUNZA MUTUPO NEWS that people’s lives aren’t safe at all.
“I
sacrificed that my grand daughter attends school in Dwarsloop where I pay
transport fee because of fear. People raped and the suspects seen roaming
around freely as if nothing had happened. I do support the patrolling team and
I bless them because now we have sleepless nights fearing for our lives.” Gogo
Marvis Nyambi said.
Bushbuckridge
police spokesperson Lieutenant Ndlovukazi Mashele told BVUNZAMUTUPO NEWS that
there is no information of the alleged suspected suspect arrested on
Friday.
“I have no idea, but I will check with my colleagues
but at the present moment I don’t have information. We would like to advise the community not to
take their law on their hands. If they catch the suspects please they should
conduct the police without assaulting them.” Lieutenant Ndlovukazi Mashele said.
