SUSPECTS HUNTED FOR HOUSE ROBBERY AND
RAPE
TONGA - Police manhunt for about seven
armed men responsible for a house robbery and rape committed in Tonga near
Malalane on Tuesday 08 September 2015, at approximately 21:30.
It is alleged that this group of thugs
stormed into a house with five occupants, held them at gunpoint and tied them
with wires. They then ransacked the house and robbed the occupants of
electronic equipment, jewelry and other valuable items. They loaded the stolen items into two vehicles, a Mercedes Benz and a Toyota Fortuner belonging
to the victims. The suspects allegedly raped a 20-year-old woman before fleeing
the scene. The vehicles were found abandoned in the early hours of yesterday in
the bushes at Steenbok near Tonga.
