MALAWIAN APPEARS FOR DEALING IN DAGGA
LEBOMBO - A 37-year-old Malawian man, Robert Moy appeared before the Komatipoort Periodical Court on Wednesday 1 April 2015, after police found dagga in his bags at Lebombo Port of Entry near Komatipoort.
Moyo’s appearance follows police rapid action on Tuesday 31 March 2015, at approximately 07:00, when they stopped a bus that was from Mozambique for a routine search.
During the search in the luggage compartment of the bus, police found eight suspicious bags which were identified as belonging to Moyo. When police opened the bags, they discovered that they were filled with dagga. The dagga, with an estimated street value of R170 660 was seized and Moyo arrested and charged with dealing in dagga.

Moyo reminded in custody until Tuesday 07 April 2015, for a Malawian interpreter.
