DEPUTY MINISTER MASINA TO VISIT GAUTENG FACTORIES

The Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr Mzwandile Masina will visit Gauteng-based factories, Naledi Inhlanganiso and Plasma Cut, as part of taking the dti (Department of Trade and Industry) to the Factories campaign. Members of the media are invited to cover the visits:

The purpose of the Taking the dti to the Factories campaign is to offer the political leadership of the department an opportunity to visit companies which have received funding from the dti in order to assess the impact of the financial support, as well as those that have shown potential for growth and necessity to acquire funds from the department.

It also serves as a platform for sharing of information and ideas on the contribution of beneficiaries of incentives offered by the dti on the department’s objectives, including the creation of employment, industrialisation, economic growth, and the creation of black industrialists.

Plasma Cut is a fully fledged steel service centre, whose main offerings are cut-to-size, pipe manufacturing, fabrication and machining.

Naledi Inhlanganiso is an industrial group operating in the iron and steel sector of the manufacturing industry
