Testimony strengthens membership
The Devoted Ambassadors for Christ Church celebrated its fifth birth days by the members testifying and thank God for healing them.
The Church’s Presiding Bishop, Bishop Alexander Mwami blessed the little children welcoming them into church. The Devoted Ambassadors church is one of the fast growing churches in five years time it has more than 400 members at one branch.
The church is in Matenteng near Bushbuckridge in Mpumalanga.
Some of the church members come as far as Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique, Swaziland, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
Matilda Roux (34) one of those who gave testimony said, “I was a drug and alcohol abuse and I was found HIV positive in 2007. My friend invited me to this church and I only spent 2 years when I went back for check I was told that I am no longer positive that is why you find me on this church deep in the rural. I thank the support and counseling from Bishop and his wife.”
The Devoted Ambassadors have branches in three countries, namely; DRC, Zambia, and South Africa. It has 11 branches in three provinces KZN, Limpopo, and Mpumalanga.
Another member who caused everybody’s tears to drop was Letty Mhklongo (47), said, “I was on wheel chair when I visited this church I couldn’t walk or to stand on my feet. Now I am free from all those evil things. Through the grace of God I am doing what I used to wish when stroke struck me two years ago.”
The presiding Bishop Alexander said, “Christians have a tendency of discriminating other people based on the status of that particular person. It is very bad for a pastor or Bishop of a church to share secrets of one of your member with another member, or to preach anything against someone’s status. That is why most of the churches loose their members.”
The church is now found on DSTV channel omega every Sunday at 15:00.
